            HIV stands for Human Immunodeficiency Virus. This is a Lysogenic virus, where after integrating its RNA into the DNA of the host cell, the virus may remain inactive for a period of time.  The fact that is has RNA makes HIV a retrovirus, and that's bad news as far as creating a vaccine is concerned.  As the RNA is transferred into DNA, there are a lot of mistakes made. The shape of the Virus varies slightly because of those errors, which is what makes it so difficult to make a vaccine for the virus.    
            The Vvrus leads to AIDS, which is a disease of the immune system, where the immune system is slowly disabled over time.  The virus destroys the white blood cells called CD4+ T cells.  That is the nasty streak of the virus, since it's the "helper T cells

Bill is first and foremost a writer. He pens his thoughts, painting with words, stringing clauses together with the same easy grace as an artisan stringing beads onto a handcrafted necklace. Commas do not deter him, nor do semicolons; punctuation is his butler.

He has AIDS. He is gay. These two sentences — those baldfaced truths — are not as interwoven as today's society would have us believe. His HIV status is neither the result of being too careless nor too carefree, but of the cravenness of another.
